Molenberg Sandwich Shop

“In a time of fancy, low fat, low carb, natural and organic food fads, the humble sandwich appears to have lost a few fans. But Molenberg aimed to win some back by opening up a temporary dedicated sandwich store in downtown Auckland”

The design had to reflect the fresh and vibrant flavours of the sandwiches. The interior is modern with a fresh, light and inviting vibe. Our favourite element is the front counter, routed timber was used to create the look of tiling in bold blue and white stripes.

Pressed Raw Juice Bar

“Cold pressed juices are sweeping the globe and Auckland is the next cab off the rank to ride the cold pressed fresh juice wave.”
The design is energising, authentic and genuine.
A fresh clean aesthetic was achieved with a herringbone tile back wall, from which the logo pops out, embodying a sense of power and energy.
A false wall was installed to reduce the space and to make it feel welcoming and comforting. The furniture was created from scaffold posts and ply, and the front counter features a yellow scaffold and mesh panel to add a pop of colour.

“Burgers, Beers & Great times” “We'll make sure our stores give you an experience that makes it worth your while to come and visit our team of great Burger Brothers and Ladies.”

We applied a Kiwiana feel to a series of refits and new stores across New Zealand. We used up-cycled New Zealand native timber and raw materials to create a distinctive environment.

Flight Bar

“Flight Bar is a stylish new bar at Auckland International Airport that showcases DB Breweries’ award-winning portfolio of beers and ciders”

This project was developed in conjunction with Barworks Hospitality Group and designed by Jasmax. Cutting Innovations was selected as the lead manufacturer on the strength of our vast design and manufacturing capabilities. We designed the unique bottle hanging system, machined the organic bar moulds, and developed a polymer concrete to spray into the moulds to achieve a distinctive concrete finish.

Dr Gloom - Whoa Studios

“Whoa! Studios, founded by technology entrepreneur David Sutherland, has been more than four years in the making and he's confident those who make the trip to Henderson won't be disappointed.”

Dr Gloom is a three metre high statue which sits as the centre piece of Whoa! Studios. Other examples of our work can be seen throughout their studio.
